Nice protected route. Asphalt road along the railway and the Staggia stream.
Perfect route to get to Monteriggioni. The track first runs alongside the railway, then winds along the wooded hills following the Staggia stream. Finally you pass through some cultivated fields, where the view opens up and the panorama is surprising: suddenly the village of Monteriggioni appears at the top of a hill, with its high walls and characteristic towers.
