Be sure to go into the chapel, which is painstakingly maintained by Christine and Wolfgang from Apartment Christine and decorated with flowers or bouquets on the benches. Both the wrought iron grille in front of the altar and the ceiling painting are worth seeing.

The first Gahberg chapel was built 300 years ago. The current building dates from 1951.
There is a neo-Gothic wooden altar in the chapel. The altarpiece is an imitation of the All Saints' Day painting by Albrecht Dürer in the Art History Museum in Vienna and was made in 1953 by the painter Heinrich Doubrava from Linz. (Source: Atterwiki)
The chapel is located on the long ridge of the Gahberg and is a popular hiking and excursion destination.
The 864 m high Gahberg is mostly free of fog and therefore attracts many walkers and hikers.
