    The Fountain of Youth has not always been a famous tourist attraction. At the start of the 19th century, Jean Côme Damien Poignand, a collector of Roman and Celtic antiquities, declared that he had found the mythical Fountain of Youth near the tomb of Merlin, which he incidentally invented!
