On the Dörper mountain near Neuenkirchen there is a bench at the highest point for resting and a signboard with the fixed points, which can be seen in good weather. Worth mentioning here are the castle in Bad Bentheim in the west and the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest to the east, which can be seen on the right side of the Rhine basilica.
If you take the path that leads to the north, you can rest well and protected about 150 m further down on a bench next to a crossroads.
