The New York skyline is changing – significantly! Because since 2012, New Yorkers have been building a “small town” in the middle of Manhattan – the Hudson Yards New York. It is the most complex construction project in the history of New York since the construction of the Rockefeller Center. A total of several office buildings, 4,000 apartments, hotels, a state school, over 100 shops and numerous restaurants and parks are to be built in western Manhattan on the banks of the Hudson River.
Similar to the World Trade Center, this superlative construction project is intended to create a new business center in Manhattan. One of the buildings - the 10 Hudson Yards, a 270 meter skyscraper - opened in May 2016.
