The monument to the fallen at sea, a work by the Ravenna sculptor Giannantonio Bucci in travertine, flanked by 2 bas-reliefs with the sailor's prayer and the Navy's coat of arms, has been relocated to the Sanfilippo pier in Porto Corsini; facing the sea, thanks to its imposing size, it is visible from passing ships, a reference point for those entering the port.
