The Col de la Croix du Bonhomme is really a magnificent passage of the TMB, at the crossroads of Beaufortain, Val-Montjoie and the valley of the glaciers. The views are simply stunning!

Col de la Croix du Bonhomme is one of the most popular hiking trails in the French Alps. It is a challenging hike, but the views from the top are well worth the effort.

The trail begins in the village of Les Contamines-Montjoie and climbs to a pass at an elevation of 2,962 meters (9,716 feet). The hike takes about 5 hours to complete, and it is important to be well-prepared for the altitude and the physical demands of the trail.
