The Nikolauskirche is the oldest church building in Haar. Its construction goes back to the 13th century. There is also evidence of a cemetery from 1315 - at that time the place consisted of only four farming families. The church has a checkered history with several periods of decay, most recently between 1933 and 1971, when it was unused and parish life took place in the newly built, larger, nearby Konradkirche.
