The boat harbor and lido are practically next to each other overseas.
We are at the starting point of our bike tour. The sun is already sinking towards the horizon, time for the big show in the Übersee lido, the view far over the lake and the Chiemgau mountains, slowly making us forget the hardships of our trip around the Chiemsee.
With our feet in the water, a cool speci in hand, we let the day end.
For romantics, the sundowner bar is exactly the right place.

This overseas section really invites you to linger. If you are looking for a uniquely beautiful place to eat, enjoy the sunset right on the lake, then I recommend the Chiemgauhof. The food is top notch too.
