If you drive towards Fritzlar from the south on the country road, the town's medieval scenery immediately catches your eye. The view from the Mainzer Ring, which runs parallel to the millrace, is particularly beautiful. Here you'll find the "Four Towers View," where the Pulpit Tower, the Winter Tower, the Women's Tower, and the Grey Tower can be seen in succession. The impressive cathedral, other city wall towers, and the Old Eder Bridge, dating from 1227, are also visible from the Mainzer Ring or are located directly on this road.
