A small signpost on the Vennbahnweg shows the path to the vantage point, which you have to follow about 50m into the forest to the edge of a former quarry, where a lake has formed. After a few steps along the abyss you will find a quiet spot for a short break to strengthen yourself with a beautiful view of the lake.
