When a low sun settles over the yellow plains of pipe straw and dark tufts of shrub heath on the Strijbeekse Heide, you can still imagine how the young Vincent van Gogh enthusiastically made his first pencil sketches here in 1881. How he tried to capture the reflection of a fly in the Langven. It was and is a beautiful picture.
