The courtyard garden near the residence is built in French Baroque style. The center of the garden is the castle-like orangery, whose premises are used today as a restaurant as well as for concerts and conferences. The Leonhart-Fuchs-Garten is dedicated to the former personal physician of the Margrave and "Father of Botany" Leonhart Fuchs. To design plants from the "New Kreuterbuch" by Fuchs were used as a template.

A very nice park with a large stock of trees.
The herb garden created here in honor of Fuchs in 2001 is definitely worth a visit.
