The name of this square, located near the Elizabeth Bridge, commemorates the first day of the 1848 revolution. Below you can see the remains of a Roman camp called Castra Aquincum. It was built at the end of the 3rd century AD under the reign of Emperor Diocletian.
The Március 15th tér commemorates the beginning of the Hungarian revolution of 1848/1849. Many beautiful monuments are to be visited here.
