The Polish-Czech twin town of Cieszyn / Český Těšín formerly known as Teschen. Offers a lot of architecture, culture, sights and old brewing craft in two countries. The two cities are connected by 3 bridges and can be visited without border controls. In the old town of Poland there is much historical to discover with the Habsburg Castle and its well-known Piast Tower, as well as the market square and the former monastery. On the Czech side, there are large streets with shops and rustic restaurants. A stroll through Cieszyn's shopping street is also recommended, there are a lot of owner-managed shops. And of course there is the brewery guild that lures you into various brewery cellars.
