On the footpath from Burgstädt to Wittgensdorf, at the bridge crossing the Tauraer road via the railway line Neukieritzsch - Chemnitz, there is this testimony of a former atonement chapel. This was built around 1250 to commemorate the murder of Bishop Arn of Würzburg on July 12, 892.
