The view from the Stuxberg down into the valley is impressive and highly recommended.

"... The Stux or Stuxberg is a rocky hill above Unkel-Heister, from which the view opens up over the Rhine Valley near Unkel. It is located in the Rhein-Westerwald Nature Park in northern Rhineland-Palatinate and is therefore part of the slate mountains on the right bank of the Rhine At the foot of the Stux, to the north, is the Stux waterfall, directly on the L252 in the Hähnerbachtal, which arises from a branch of the Hähnerbach.
The Stux is geologically interesting because the layered sedimentary rock in the “Unkel Fold” is clearly visible here. The sediment deposits of a former ocean consist of calcareous slate in mostly horizontal, but sometimes also vertical layers and are about 325 million years old. They were created when the continents of Laurussia and Gondwana collided.
Today the lower area of the Stux is used for viticulture, partly in terraced cultivation. The Stux belongs to the Middle Rhine wine-growing region.
Since 2005, the Rheinsteig long-distance hiking trail has led directly over the Stux. ..."

The Stuxberg offers a very nice view over the Rhine valley at Unkel.
