Location: Ville De Bruxelles - Stad Brussel, Brussels, Belgium
This statue is a copy of the fountain of Neptune in Bologna erected in 1563. It represents the God of the Sea, the Oceans and the Waters, with four sirens at his feet. The Brussels replica dates from 1903, it was part of an urban development project of King Leopold II, to which was added the construction of the Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese tower to give more character to the environment of his castle. .
