At a crossroads in the forest area between Friedlos, Meckbach and Kathus, stands a cross of oak trunks. It was built and built by Martin Stein from Sorga as a project in preparation for his forestry master's examination. Thought as a landmark for the Reflection path that was initiated on the initiative of Dieter Herter from Kathus. Along the way there are signs at intervals with contemplative sayings or verses that are thought-provoking.
