As of July 2021, the trail section between Alamosa Park and Finch is temporarily closed. It used to be possible to ignore the signs, go around the fencing and get through in the spring - but since June it is not passable.
Detour via Alamosa Dr (/ & Appian Dr)

They did that section two years ago and now is broken again. Booo
You have to take Finch Ave east to the next intersection and use Alamosa Dr south to reconnect with the trail at the end of the street. Happy trails.
