Heidingsfeld (in dialect: Hätzfeld), now a district of Würzburg, was an independent town from 1367 to 1929. That is why Heidingsfeld is colloquially called the "Städtle" and it had its own town hall.
The Giemaul, a landmark of Heidingsfeld, is attached under the town hall clock, around which a legend is entwined.
