The church of Champvoux dates from the 11th century, when it was built for a priory under the authority of the priory of Souvigny, itself belonging to the Cluniac constellation. Not much remains of this priory, which was abandoned in the 14th century and burned down in the 16th century during the wars of religion. The current remains, however, have a certain charm, and still contain some treasures of Romanesque sculpture. The church can be visited by appointment only.
