Glasshouses is a pretty village on the River Nidd in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Nidderdale Way passes just to the north of the village, while the Six Dales Trail skirts its southern end. To the south is the dramatic Guise Cliff and it's lovely woodland. On the top of the cliffs you can find the Grade II-listed Yorle's Folly and discover beautiful views across classic Yorkshire pastureland.
