Kettlewell, Starbotton and Buckden Hike
Parked up in Kettlewell village, pay and display car park. Free toilets in Kettlewell. Rained all day non-stop, got wet through! Will do it again on a dry day. Excellent views. One big steep hill during the walk.

Penyghent to Whernside linear (then lift back)
Very windy and cool day up Penyghent. My group just wanted to do 10/11 miles from the main group doing the Y3P. Took a couple of short detours to see hunt pot and hull pot at the bottom of Penyghent. Got a lift back by our support vehicle. Good day…

Walk around Bolton Abbey
Very hot day out with the family. Busy Sunday with lots of visitors. Parked up and set up a day tent by the riverside car park near the cafe/toilets. Car parking is £12.50 if you book online. Barbeques not allowed in this car park. Should have taken a gazebo 🥵

Thor's cave & Dovedale, Peak District
Park at Alstonefield Cricket Club (make a donation). Toilets available 5 minutes away. Got to Thor's Cave early to avoid the crowd. Amazing structure. 14 mile walk, some steep strenuous bits. Lots of variety; cave, hills, woodland, streams.

Darwen Tower loop 10miles
Parked up for free in the layby car park at postcode PR6 8DZ, look for Crookfield Road Car Park. No toilets. Route along well marked paths. The walk up to the tower was steep. Once there you can go inside and right up to the top section for wonderful views…

Walk around Brontë Falls and back
Use postcode BD22 8EN and park for free on Cemetery Road. Reasonably flat easy walk. Good paths, but expect mud on rainy days. The waterfall area is busy.

Walk around Shipley & Saltaire.
Parking free on Hirst Lane next to the canal. Easy flat walk but very scenic along canal side and river side. Part woodland walk. Nice paths.

Wuthering Heights - Top Withens & Brontë Falls
Brilliant sunny day out. Clear dry paths. Some ups and downs but not too strenuous. Brontë Falls area busy but rest of walk quiet. Plenty of nice areas to take a break. Lovely 360° views. Free parking on cemetery road.

Casual walk around Saltaire and the canal
Beautiful sunny day today. Visited a nature reserve opposite the entrance of Hirst Lane car park near the canal. Lots of walkers, runners and cyclists about. Walked past a very busy Roberts Park.

Stoodley Pike and the secret beach Hike
Free parking around postcode HX7 5AF. Clear sunny day with excellent views. Good level of fitness needed. A few steep ups and downs. Plenty of shops in nearby village. No nearby EV charging stations.

parked by the cafe see photo for details. free parking and toilets available. can get busy but you can park near the Cow and Calf pub instead. overcast day with some light rain. we decided to scramble up the rocks but you can just walk round. Windy on the moors. good paths, easy walk. Nice day out with my friend Andy.
