Nestled in among the trees, Guisecliff Tarn is a beautiful woodland pool directly below the gritstone buttresses of Guise Cliff. The Nidderdale Way long-distance footpath passes along the top of the cliffs, while the Six Dales Trail passes right by the tarn. Views from the top of the cliff over the village of Glasshouses and beyond are majestic.
