As memorial places the Rosendahler cross reminds of the former French Abbey and the Trappistinnenkloster, from which otherwise no material remains are preserved. Between Rosendahl and Entrammes, the site of Monastery Port-du-Salut, exists since 1970 a partnership. The celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the monasteries Port-du-Salut (2015) and La Coudre (2016) recalled the origins of both monasteries in Darfeld, a name not to be forgotten among French trappists.
