The building, located at an altitude of 880 m.s.l.m., overlooks the valley of the Montone river and is surrounded by Poggio Barile, Poggio dei Tramiti and Poggio degli Orticai.
The farm was inhabited, until the 1950s, by peasant families who mainly dealt with the breeding of animals (sheep and cattle) and the cultivation of wheat and potatoes in the surrounding fields.
The farm consists of two buildings: one was used as a dwelling while the other was used as a stable.
    ....
2009 also saw the functional recovery of the most prestigious building ..... with the aim of making the structure usable and comfortable as a bivouac.

Nice, nice, I was there today, I found everything in order and above all we also found water, contrary to the sign we found at the entrance to the path from the road where it warned that there was no water, spacious and well maintained, this is given by the education of hikers.😉😉
