Schneiderhof Farmhouse Museum

The Schneiderhof in Kirchhausen was built in 1696. It is a Black Forest house, more precisely a high-pillar house in the foothills of the mountain.
The farm was managed by Berta Schneider until 1985, who died in 1986 at the age of 91.
In 1987 a non-profit association for the preservation of the building was founded.The museum has been operating since 1996; since then there have been countless visitors who have experienced the farm on an expert tour.Further information: bauernhausmuseum-schneiderhof.de

A lovely journey back in time, if you don't mind the short climb. The farm entrance is unpaved and therefore not immediately recognizable. If you follow the path to the house for a few meters, you'll find a bicycle parking area on the left.
