The today's parish church St. Jakobus d.Ä. in Herrnsdorf is a late medieval Chorturmanlage with remains of the original cemetery wall. In particular, the tower is still from the construction period; the nave was extensively altered in 1701. The high altar dates back to around 1700. The church houses a baroque seated Virgin, whose original date of origin is around 1480. The altarpiece shows the patron of the church, namely St. Jakobus d. Ä., Another Baroque figure with the attributes coat, pilgrim's stick, shell, book and hat is located on the right side wall.
