Only the name "Alte Poststraße" (Old Post Street) remains as a reminder of the former post office. The post office in Rothenbach was located in a half-timbered farmhouse. The building was probably built around 1800. From here, not only letters and mail were transported, but also travelers. With the privatization of the post office, many small post offices closed.
