Here you can follow the route of the former Schuntertalbahn and hear the trains on the replacement route (Weddel Loop) acoustically. From the eastern wall of the bridge you can follow the Schuntertalbahn through the Hohnstedter Holz via the dam. If you turn right at the end of the red path, you will see the often damp former timber loading station on the right, while you can continue to follow the railway line on the left. After a few 100m you come to a very nice section with a gravel dam. The accessible section ends at the end of the forest and leads to a field path.
