The parish church of St. Bartholomew dominates the historic market square. And yet it is a beautiful church that exudes the necessary calm for prayer. It is a relatively young church, as it was only inaugurated in 1893, the painting by the Redemptorist Friar Max Schmalzl was not completed until 1897. Upon entering, one has the impression of visiting a basilica built in neo-Romanesque style.
