Die Tour startet in Flintsbach, vorbei an der Burgruine Falkenstein. Von hier führt ein, nicht allzu anspruchsvoller Wanderweg Richtung Rehleitenkopf, der aber nicht beschildert ist. Am Gipfel eröffnet sich ein traumhafter Blick auf die umliegenden Berge – besonders schön ist der Blick hinüber zum Wendelstein. Der Weiterweg zum Berggasthof Hohe Asten ist abwechslungsreich: Unterwegs begegnet man Pferden, Kühen und sogar Alpakas. Am Gasthof angekommen, lohnt sich eine Rast – hier lässt es sich hervorragend einkehren und die regionale Küche genießen. Beim Abstieg empfiehlt sich ein Abstecher zum Petersberg. Direkt neben der bekannten Wallfahrtskirche St. Peter lädt der gemütliche, geschützte Biergarten des Berggasthofs Petersberg zu Kaffee und Kuchen ein – ein perfekter Ausklang.

Um 16 Uhr noch los mitn Bike auf dem Hochgern . Bis zur Argergschwendalm guter befestigter Weg . Dann wird es etwas steiniger und schwieriger um die engen Kehren aber machbar. Eine knappe Stunde geht's dann zu Fuß zum Gipfelkreuz, dass ich leider nicht mehr aufgezeichnet habe.
