The Bocage, a cultural landscape that was still quite widespread in France before the war, has retained a great deal of diversity: a network of beech hedges and irrigation channels covers the glacier valley and borders fields, meadows and forests. A walk through this beautiful valley, at an altitude of between 800 and 1,350 meters, is a bit like traveling back in time and highly recommended.
