Hiking

A column built as thanksgiving for fighting the epidemic in Olomouc. Originally, it was proposed to build St. Mary's Column in the Lower Square. However, its builder, Wacław Render, an imperial architect and city stonemason in Olomouc, did not find it dignified enough, so he decided to build a more magnificent column in the neighboring Upper Square.
