A very hard ascent, you'll need a casette for very steep slope. But this path guet better and better the higher you go. It is better to descend the mountain on the same side, because after the Col de la Chal the big ski resort "Les Arc" spoil the magic, albeit descending on the smooth access path can be fun with a gravel bike.
