Some claim that Hitler's wife lived here in the 1940s, others don't believe it. In fact, there is a Willa in Pobierowo, called the Ewa Braun little house, which is particularly popular with German tourists.
Nowadays anyone can visit her, but in the 1940s the house was guarded by German soldiers so that Ewa Braun could rest and recover safely. Was she visited by Hitler? There are people who are of the opinion: yes, he visited them. One thing is for sure. In Międzywodzie, not far away, there are 2 villas on the site of the still existing "Laguna" rest home, where Air Marshal Herman Goering used to live. He would probably have arranged meetings between Ewa Braun and Hitler.
After the war a convalescent home functioned there. A part of the chimney remains inside.
