In the fairytale landscape of the Gaisbühel, the stately Gaisbühel Alp appears - almost like an ark. It rests majestically and looks down on the valleys. The people at the “Gaispuhil” were known for their good cheese and were therefore obliged to deliver natural interest in the form of cheese to the Swabian monastery Weingarten as early as 1260.
