Old spa located at the top of the Salt del Frare cliff, in the Sierra de Cardó, in the municipality of Benifallet.
Initially, the building was built by some friars and consisted of a small house and a chapel. Later the convent and the 14 hermitages were built, but during the Carlist War the friars had to abandon the building, which was abandoned. It was not until the middle of the 19th century that some businessmen from Tortosa transformed the ruins of the monastery into a spa.
