Quite difficult to follow for most of the length as the path is not regularly used. It also requires quite a bit of scrambling so be sure to do it when the ground is dry. Nice path though and very quiet.

      Alpine hiking, T4.
The path is well marked with red dots on the ascent. The red markings are not so clearly visible on the descent. Don't confuse game tracks with trail tracks (like I did...)

Wonderful path! Definitely T4. Always close to the edges and always exposed in places. You MUST be sure-footed and not afraid of heights.

The Clubwägli begins the ascent behind the Rüttenen forestry lodge (P. 620) and leads in serpentines through the foothills with their rock bands until it meets the marked hiking trail from Nesselboden to Balmfluechöpfli at a height of around 1125 m. On the descent, the turn-off is marked with a small pile of stones. The path is marked on the Swiss national map, marked with red dots and secured in some places. You will have to lend a hand a few times. It is not advisable to walk the trail when it is wet, especially if there is still a lot of leaves from the previous year (danger of slipping). The difficulty is in the upper range of demanding mountain hiking.

I went down there yesterday with my (super) dog and I certainly won't do it again.
It's very steep and slippery in places (even with dry leaves), and the "path" is often difficult or impossible to see. I found it quite dangerous!
