After a steep downhill single track immersed in the woods, you arrive at a natural terrace that opens onto the Valdarno.
Below us, the protected area called: "Forest of Sant’Antonio. Here you can take some nice photos, and stock up on fresh water that flows all year round, from a source located a little further on, continuing on the wide forest that opens to our right.

It is also possible to find refuge at the Capanna delle Guardie, a wooden structure with nine beds equipped to welcome travelers and give them refuge. There is a natural laboratory and numerous installations on site.

This is the end of a very beautiful trail, starting from Poggio le Risaie and ending at the guards' hut. The trail alternates between fast, flowing sections and slower, more technical sections.
