The brewery, which was founded around 1530 in the Lower Franconian town of Maroldsweisach, has been run by the Hartleb family for 200 years and now in its sixth generation. A special feature of the preferably brewed unfiltered Franconian country beer is its bottling. The barley juice is not available as usual in bottles and boxes, but is bottled only in differently sized party kegs and siphons, or even brought along vessels and sold on site.
In addition, a beer garden with products from the in-house slaughter, regular brewery tours and its own distillery attract numerous visitors from near and far each year to the community on the edge of the Haßberge Nature Park.
Opening hours: Daily from 9 am, closed on Wednesday
