The view is a superb reward after the climb from the San Petru di Verde relay. On one side, the Corsican mountains and the Renoso massif, on the other, a view overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. You have to go up there in the morning to take advantage of the freshness and the clouds which give a theatrical side to the place.

The ascent to Bocca d'Oru is steep and arduous, but the view is all the more magnificent. To the east the view opens to the sea and the clouds are often below the path. The further way to Refuge de Prati over green meadows is easy.
