The Hemmerling inn is not far from the church in Raben. It is one of the oldest inns in the High Fläming. The landlords can refer to a proud family tree that goes back to the time of the Saxon Elector and King of Poland, Friedrich August II. Since 1990, Elisabeth Hesse has been the direct successor of the first Kruger from Raben, Johann Christian Hemmerling, who has run the inn, which is now over 270 years old, in an uninterrupted succession of generations.
