This sacred building was originally an Arabic mosque and was inaugurated in 1499 by Pope Alexander VI. dedicated to the collegiate church.
The façade survives from the Gothic phase, while the rest of the building is Baroque in style, having been completely rebuilt by the Duchess of Gandía in the 16th century. The church consists of a single nave and is considered a typical example of late Valencian Gothic. The one facing south is the older of the two gates. The Puerta del los Apóstoles was decorated with sculptures by Damián Forment.
