Beautiful section through the upper Kesseltal. The well-paved road meanders over the heather hump, past old mills along the river Kessel. There are a few short, not too steep ramps and on the other side of the hump the appropriate descent.
There is almost no vehicle traffic.
Unfortunately, the local road in Thalheim is currently (as of June 2021) being renovated so that there are some short gravel passages there. Nevertheless, the entry into the Kesseltal from there is definitely worth it!
