This is a part of the defensive barracks of the Collalunga pass, in the valley of the same name in the municipality of Vinadio, which at the time of the Second World War was able to accommodate up to sixty men. The retaining wall of the square in front of the fortification, which looks towards the valley, has stolen the eye of hikers for decades due to its particular shape, which makes it very similar to the tip of a boat.
