A ride on the nostalgic Zillertalbahn is a special experience. The narrow-gauge train runs, just like when it was first put into service in 1902, with a steam locomotive from Jenbach to Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. The train travels the 32 kilometer long route through the Zillertal at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour. The crystal wagon is special, equipped with 62,000 Swarovski crystals. A childhood dream is fulfilled by driving the train yourself as a driver: in the summer this is possible every Friday.
