Starting from the parking area of the Stazi, flat in front of Colle San Rufino, enter the wood that descends along the north side of the Subasio, along a very long path characterized by very tall pine trees but without particularly demanding stretches; arrived above the village of Armenzano, the path continues but becomes more demanding, therefore it is advisable to take the short stretch which leads to the village in a steep and technical descent. From here, turn right towards Collepino, left towards Assisi

The path was a complete disaster in September 2026 and not passable. Even as an experienced rider, no chance, had to give up and take the road via the street. It might be that it works better at another time of year, but if there is no path, there is no path!
