From the dike in Barnkrug, you have a wonderful view of the Elbe River. There's a picnic area. From here, you also have a good view of Barnkrug Harbor. Directly in front of the dike is a bike rack, a playground, a picnic area, and a telephone booth with books. A visit is highly recommended.

Great view of the Elbe and the Elbe island of Pagensand. Pagensand is an Elbe island in the Lower Elbe. The island is about 5.8 km long, about 1 km wide and about 520 hectares in size. It mainly belongs to the municipality of Seestermühe, the southern part belongs to the municipality of Haselau and a small part at the northern tip to the municipality of Kollmar. Wikipedia
